At the initiative of the Association of Gas Producers of Ukraine jointly with the American Chamber of Commerce, workshop for international consultants and lawyers on the peculiarities of conducting of oil and gas licensing rounds through the ProZorro.Sale system took place.

During the event, Acting Head of the State Geological Service of Ukraine Oleg Kyrylyuk, Chief Operations Officer of ProZorro.Sale Andriy Motovylovets, Head of the Exchange Committee of the Ukrainian Energy Exchange Oleksiy Dubovskyy and the Executive Director of the Association Roman Opimakh showed in detail how the upcoming auctions will take place, described step by step the registration process on the platform and explained all the peculiarities of the procedures.

"Oil and gas licensing rounds on the  base of electronic auctions is new and the industry did not work with it previously, it's important that lawyers and international consultants who work directly with foreign investors correctly explain how the oil and gas licensing rounds will take place in Ukraine. We hope that leading law firms will facilitate arrival to the Ukrainian market of foreign players ", - said the Executive Director of the Association Roman Opimakh.

According to the Acting Head of the State Geological Service of Ukraine Oleg Kyrylyuk, the introduction of electronic auctions through the Prozoro.Sales system on the UEE platform will provide a new level of quality of service for potential subsoil users and noted that the electronic trading system will work in real time for an unlimited number of participants.

Also, within the framework of the event, an agreement between the State Geological Service and the  Ukrainian Energy Exchange was signed, according to which oil and gas licenses will be put up for the auction through the UEE electronic platform.
