Sixth Ukrainian Gas Forum-Eastern European Gas Congress will be held online on October 27-28, 2020.
In the year that saw a major black swan event affecting not only Ukraine but the whole world, and not just the natural gas sector but the whole economy, our event had to be rethought to reflect the new realities in which the world now lives. Realizing that Ukraine’s gas market is increasingly connected with its East European peers, we decided this year to expand the geographical scope of the Forum and give equal representation to countries and markets that are under-represented on the natural gas conference scene –Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey.
As always, so many problems and issues that will need answers and solutions. As in past years, the event will decipher the main issues of the past 12 months in the upstream, midstream and downstream. Panels of experts will also deliver their take on the upcoming heating season, on the geopolitics of natural gas, and on another gases for which there is growing interest: biogases.
Thus, it is planned to hold discussion panels on the following topics:
- problems and prospects of hydrogen and biomethane use in gas transmission networks;
- gas production - offshore and onshore fields;
- infrastructure - LNG and its storage, gas pipelines;
- transportation and gas processing;
- gas markets and east-west geopolitics.
You can view the program, follow all the updates and register on the Forum’s website https://ukrgasforum.org/en/.
