On Thursday, May 2, 2019, the second round of oil and gas online auctions on the ProZorro.Sale platform took place. Six of seven blocks in five regions, with a total area of more than 770 sq. km were traded at the electronic auctions. According to the results of the bidding, E&P 20-year licenses were sold for more than UAH 92 million, which exceeded the initial price of the lots almost twice.

Lot 1. North-Efremivska block (Kharkiv region) - UAH 50 million. The price has increased by UAH 38 million compared to the initial price. JSC UkrGasVydobuvannya (UGV) won.

Lot 2. Dobrenska  block (Kharkiv region) - UAH 6.35 million. The price has increased by UAH 50 thousand compared to the initial price. UGV obtained the license.

Lot 3. Opolonivska-1 block (Chernihiv region) - UAH 6.45 million. The price has increased by UAH 50 thousand. UGV acquired the license.

Lot 4. Opolonivska-2 block (Chernihiv region) – there were no bids.

Lot 5. Kalyuzhna-1 block (Sumy region) - UAH 7.7 million. The price has increased by UAH 50 thousand compared to the initial price. UGV won.

Lot 6. Drohobytska block (Lviv region) - UAH 15.73 million. The price has increased by 200 thousand UAH. Yedyna O&G Company won.

Lot 7. Kadobnianska block (Ivano-Frankivsk region) - UAH 6.05 million. The price has increased by UAH 4.5 million from the initial. UGV won.

"Conducting of e-auctions for oil and gas blocks is a great success in reforming of the upstream industry of Ukraine. Today, six blocks have been sold from the proposed seven, which indicates the interest of investors in new acreages. As during the first bids on March, the second round was held with the participation of only Ukrainian producers. We expect to increase competition in future online auctions and PSA tenders with the participation of foreign companies.
