On September 20-21, the Ukrainian Financial Forum 2018 took place in Odesa. During two days, officials, MPs, well-known international experts and bankers, representatives of public and private business discussed financial events in Ukraine and the world, the latest investment trends and capital management.

During his speech, the Executive Director of the Association, Roman Opimakh, talked about the changes taking place in the gas producing industry.

"Over the past two years, the gas producing industry has undergone dramatic changes, and conducted by the government reforms have already had a positive effect. In turn, equally important steps, which are needed to attract investment and new technologies into the sector. The industry expects the launch of online oil and gas auctions in the near future that will ensure transparent and competitive access for all those wishing to participate in it. At the same time, liberalization of geological information and simplification of access to it are an important components for conducting auctions".
