The Deregulation term has been so widely used by the authorities during their speeches that it has led to lack of interest in many. For the public, it is a template phrase, a cliche, which very few understand. For petroleum industry it is as vital, as air is to men.
AGPU from its first days has been working on the industry deregulation, simplification of rules and permitting procedures, which detain the industry's development, facilitate corruption, obstruct bringing advanced technologies to Ukraine, and block the investors' operations.
3096-d bill, on which the industry, national experts, international organizations, foreign experts, adn authorities have been working on jointly, includes all the aspects of deregulation. It is one of the necessary steps, which will strengthen Ukraine in the competition for international capital, and should facilitate an increase in dynamics of hydtrocarbons production.
In his blog, Roman Opimakh explains to the general public the step-by-step changes in the industry, which will happen to the industry when the bill is passed.
The Association will tirelessly lead the document to the end. The industry is supported by: the Better Regulation Delivery Office (BRDO), the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, Naftogaz of Ukraine, Parliamentary Energy, Nuclear Policy and Safety Committee, the National Investment Council.
The industry believes in the unanimous support by the MPs.
