Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, Igor Nasalyk, has argued for decreasing the royalty.

During his visit to to Kolotnytske gas field in Lviv oblast', Igor Nasalyk has stated that the fiscal regime cannot be the same when the price conjuncture changes.

To remind: the oil price was $107 in 2014, and $48 in 2016 (per barrel). In the same period, the natural gas price has also dropped more than twice from $412 to $180 (per 1000 cubic meters).
