Vice-prime-minister of Ukraine, Volodymyr Kistion and representatives of the Government have met with the gas producers to determine the priorities of the industry development and implementation of the Action plan, which supplemented the Concept for Development of Ukraine's Gas Production Industry by 2020.

As V. Kistion has stated during the meeting: "Our agenda contains preparation of a new Subsoil Code, as well as following the bill #5459, which should implement a stimulating royalty rate on natural gas produced on new wells, and bill #3096, which should deregulate the oil and gas industry.

I would like to call everyone involved to work effectively to implement the Concept. It is the development not only of the gas production industry, but of the economy as a whole. After all, it is our energy independence!"
