To every one of you, the Day of the Oil, Gas, and Oil Refinery Industry Workers of Ukraine is a milestone date to resume the year. Annually companies report on their achievements and outline the challenges in the new chronicle of changes.

In the joint striving to get one step closer to achieve the strategic goal – energy independence – you all together daily contribute titanic efforts to increase domestic gas production.

To do so, eveery day drilling of new wells continues, new potential horizons are explored, new technologies are implemented, and technological level of production is increased.

The path to energy independence is not easy. You often come across total lack of understanding from the state authorities. You sometimes are not able to overcome the destructive nature of the bureaucratic system.

However, you continue to work on development of Ukraine's petroleum upstream industry, contributing your knowledge, your energy and your soul.

It is important to undestand that it is the systematic defending of progressive changes in the industry which may break the ice and give rise to the development of hydrocarbons production in Ukraine. It is our persistence and faith in the industry's potential, which will allow us to perform our own Ukrainian gas revolution in the name of independence.
