In 2018, Burisma Group carried out 3D seismic works on a 176 sq km area based on contracts for cross exploration, processing and data analysis with a number of foreign companies.

“Newly interpreted seismic data allowed us to complete a number of wells,” says Burisma Group CEO Taras Burdeyniy.

In particular, we finalized works on well #6 (Zhuravlyna area, Derkachivsk-Voitenivsk block, Kharkiv region) and obtained additional 60 tons of condensate and 130 thousand cubic meters of gas per day. The Group also completed interpretation of 2D seismic data on Rakytnyanske field. Today, Burisma is finalizing feasibility studies and 3D seismic works.

According to Taras Burdeyniy, following a comprehensive study, Burisma Group has put together a geological model for Kubashivske field, which helped identify a drilling location for a prospect well.

In 2019, the Group is planning to conduct seismic works on Zhovtneve field and Rzhavetska area. Today, Burisma owns the largest high-end seismic fleet in the country. In addition, the Group provides circa 30% of seismic works to other companies, including state-owned enterprises.
