In December, operating companies of Burisma Group completed works on commissioning of well No.3 at the Vodyanivske field, No.42 at the Karaykozivske field in Kharkiv region, and No.715 at the Proletarske field in Dnipropetrovsk region. The drilling was carried out by pitless method with SK2000 and SK3000 complete waste disposal machines.
“The depth of the well No.3 at the Vodyanivske field was more than 6000 m. It is one of the deepest wells not only in Burisma Group’s portfolio but also among all gas producing companies in Ukraine. Its daily output is more than 250 thousand m3 of gas. We expect even better results from every new well,” Taras Burdeiniy, Burisma Group CEO said.
Overall, despite the unfavorable global conditions for hydrocarbons and peculiarities of domestic economic development, in 2019, Burisma Group has fully implemented this year’s investment plan for drilling new wells.
“The global decline in costs of energy carriers has not affected our plans regarding the number of new wells we drill. Moreover, once again we have demonstrated that the use of innovative approaches and the newest equipment allows us to adhere to the new wells commissioning plans even in the conditions of big depth and complex mining and geological factors,” Burdeiniy said.
According to the results of 2019, the Group’s operating companies have drilled 9 new wells, and 5 more are in the process of completion.
