Artem Petrenko was chosen as the Executive Director of the Association of Gas Producers of Ukraine. Prior to his appointment, Artem was responsible for the legal direction at the AGPU for three years. He directly coordinated the development and implementation of important initiatives of the gas sector for fiscal policy, transparent access to the subsoils and the system for obtaining permission.

“The activity of the Association will continue to be aimed at the development of domestic gas production and achievement of the strategic goal - energy independence of Ukraine. Through joint efforts, we have already implemented a number of necessary reforms, but much work remains to be done: modernizing core legislation to the best international standards, attracting new players to the market, making effective use of subsoils and promoting the gas industry in the international arena”,  said Artem Petrenko.

Prior to joining the Association, Artem Petrenko worked at domestic and foreign law firms as well as a subsidiary of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine.
