On July 23, the round table discussion "Ukrhazvydobuvania - a driving force for the development of the Ukrainian market of oil and gas industry services” with the participation of representatives of Ukrainian and international companies providing oil and gas services.

During his speech, the Executive Director of the Association, Roman Opimakh, noted:

"The application of modern production practices in the domestic E&P sector will enable to increase the efficiency of drilling at least three times. The study indicates that without the full satisfaction of 12 strategic services, the industry will not be able to develop at a rapid, necessary pace. We need more modern drilling units, fleets for intensification of extraction and cementation, equipment for implementation of 3D seismic ".

He stressed that this year there is an unprecedented interest from foreign service companies from America, Canada, Britain, Italy, and Asia, which increasingly size up the market.

"These companies work in dozens of countries and have considerable experience. This is a good signal."

At the same time, the arrival of such companies will require revision of the standard contractual terms and modernization of state standards, their adaptation to the generally accepted modern international standards.
