Speaking during the IV international conference "Coiled tubing. Fracking. Drilling services. Investments" hosted by OGCC "Newfolk" in Lviv, the Association's executive director, Roman Opimakh, has told about the current state of the industry, pointing at strategic and tactical initiatives of the gas producers during the past year.

"The promised resource potential of Ukraine is waiting for the creation of the attractive investment climate in the industry, realization of clear measures with the precise deadlines and exact last names of the executors" – he stated.

Also, Roman Opimakh has highlighted that "drilling, services and human resources" are the components, without which not a single oil and gas production project can be executed. The world has not yet discovered a way to produce gas without qualified personnel and without drilling wells and using chisels with the necessary solutions.

The key to quality success is harmony in these three components, which, when properly improved, help achieve the maximum efficiency of the projects.

Obviously, the demand creates its own supply, and competitveness ensures optimality. Thus, the main point of the conference were:

- we need to actively implement the advanced international experience in field development (all the current achievements of the independent production are built on this very dogma);

- we need to encourage certification trainings and personnel traning, with adaptation of their knowledge and approaches to the current practices (i.e. "the tractor driver will not drive a Mercedes");
- we need to allow unobstructed inflow of the advanced know-hows, and, if possible, facilitate the localization of their production in Ukraine.
