The names of the applicant companies which will compete for the development of 3 oil and gas blocks with a total area of over 3800 sq.km under the terms of production sharing agreements were announced at the meeting of the Interagency Commission on February 4, 2020.

• Hrunivska block (Sumy and Poltava regions) – 2 offers: JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya in partnership with Vermilion Energy; EP Ukraine B.V.
   
• Ichnyanska block (Chernihiv region) – 1 offer: York Energy (UK) Holdings Limited.
   
• Okhtyrska block (Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv regions) – 3 offers: JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya in partnership with Vermilion Energy; DTEK O&G; EP Ukraine B.V.

Minimal investment commitments into development of three blocks for the first 5 years will be at least $70 mln.

During two months, the Interagency Commission should evaluate the bids of the applicants, determine the winners of the tenders and recommend them for approval by the Governement.
